Shibarium reaches a new milestone
According to Shibariumscan, Shibarium has a huge new achievement by surpassing the 411 million transaction level. This metric currently shows 411,019,727 transactions in total. In recent days more than 3 million transfers have been added.
This new groundbreaking milestone was achieved even though the daily transaction throughput remained at the low level of 1.03 million after falling 4 times since February 20, when it showed 4.2 million transfers per day.
Recently, Shibarium struck a strategic partnership with K9 Finance. SHIB leader Shytoshi Kusama and SHIB lead developer Kaal Dhairya have been named official advisors to K9 as K9 launched its native coin KNINE on Shibarium.
SHIB price takes a big hit
The second largest meme cryptocurrency in terms of market capitalization value, Shiba Inu, mainly follows the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin, reaching new price highs when BTC does so. Therefore, when Bitcoin price shows a reversal, so does SHIB along with the majority of the altcoin market.
None of the technical developments by the SHIB team and the frequent and ambitious updates introduced to Shibarium and within the SHIB ecosystem in general have resulted in significant price increases unlike Bitcoin’s recent series of all-time highs.
As Bitcoin has been correcting after reaching an all-time high of $73,750 two days ago, the price of the Shiba Inu has also plummeted. During the last two days, SHIB has fallen by more than 18%, falling from $0.00003485 to the level of $0.00002866.
SHIB receives mention on popular US TV show
As Guru-Investingreported, this week, Bitcoin and Shiba Inu were mentioned by a host of the popular financial-themed show “Eye on Your Money” broadcast in Utah on KUTV. As one of the most popular television networks in the country, it has given BTC and SHIB massive exposure to the US television audience.
However, this notable event did not positively influence either Bitcoin or Shiba Inu prices.
