Shiba Inu (SHIB) is advancing its network push as its latest partner, K9 DAO, has made a major network announcement. The digital currency project now has landed K9 as a top validator focused on the PuppyNet testnet.
Shiba Inu and the Safety Drive
Shiba Inu started out as a meme coin, however, it has evolved over the past year into a widely followed proof-of-stake (PoS) protocol. Through Shibarium, the project seeks to revolutionize the smart contract ecosystem on Ethereum.
As he previously shared the project, he brought in K9 Finance DAO as one of his validators. The launch of a validator on PuppyNet marks one of K9’s first attempts to actively contribute to Shiba Inu safety.
PuppyNet is a testing ground for the Shibarium protocol. It helps developers validate the functionality of updates, products, and any innovations they want to upload to the mainnet. According to the update shared, running the validator is a mutually beneficial update for both Shiba Inu and K9 Finance DAO.
While K9 will help keep Shiba Inu safe, the huge SHIB community will also bring greater visibility to the K9 project. Overall, K9 Finance will be able to distribute BONE rewards to KNINE holders, returning value to its native followers.
Shiba Inu and strategic partnerships
Shiba Inu is touted as a major project that can establish itself as one of the top 10 tokens. So far, the project has maintained its construction strategy. At the moment, it has signed strategic partnerships with Bad Idea AI to bring AI capabilities to the ecosystem.
The roadmap for this partnership is still unknown; However, the protocol has expanded its influence with a tie-up with SBI VC Trade, a company that is driving SHIB adoption through community-driven products and incentive products.
Amid this growing partner ecosystem, the community is warned to remain alert for scammers, who could take advantage of the trend.
