The Platform X crypto community responded enthusiastically to the new AI announcement.
X Something makes further progress towards AI
Insider “DogeDesigner” (@cb_doge) spread the word about changing X’s algorithm to a post recommendation system that will be based entirely on artificial intelligence.
The new AI-based X Algo will also sort responses with AI and “enable full semantic search with AI.” Doing so will also remove spam/fraud comments and responses.
X has been actively integrating AI lately, first as the Grok AI chatbot, which was created by Elon Musk’s xAI startup, launching it for Premium+ users on the social network.
Musk’s foray into AI was sparked by an unexpected move by OpenAI, the producer of ChatGPT, which Musk helped found in 2015. OpenAI began to go completely commercial against the principles it was founded on. Furthermore, Musk believes that OpenAI and ChatGPT have woken up since this chatbot neglects to talk to its clients about sensitive topics: politics, sex, religion, gender, etc.
Compared to ChatGPT, Grok was programmed to use humor when talking to users. Grok is receiving training on social media platform posts and comments. Musk already released the Grok 1.5 version, while ChatGPT released an improved version 4o.
Earlier today, Elon Musk posted a tweet about Grok’s new “fun mode,” summarizing the news from X’s feed.
Musk’s Major X announcement
On Friday, serial tech entrepreneur Elon Musk addressed the global X community. He announced that all of the platform’s core systems have finally been moved to the x.com domain from twitter.com.
Several cryptocurrency communities, particularly those around XRP and DOGE, responded enthusiastically and began asking a popular question: in particular, whether Musk intends to integrate cryptocurrency payments into the X social network.
X Payments is expected to launch later this year. However, Musk has made it clear several times that X does not intend to use any native cryptocurrency on the platform.
