Cryptocurrency fans around the world celebrate Dogecoin Day on April 20 (also widely known as “weed day”). This year, DOGE Day came just after the global crypto community celebrated another major event: the fourth Bitcoin halving. This year it took place on April 19 in the United States and April 20 in Europe.
Crypto X is also celebrating Elon Musk’s birthday. His mother, Maye Musk, posted a celebratory tweet congratulating her son. Elon Musk posted a photo of himself, with a caption that reads “30 years ago.”

Musk’s birthday aside, the tech mogul also spread the word today that his space company, SpaceX, reached a major new milestone: Starlink internet terminals are now available in Madagascar.
The crypto community responded enthusiastically to that announcement and commenters included many cryptocurrency fans, including those of XRP and Dogecoin.

As news of Musk’s birthday spreads on social media, the top cryptocurrency, Dogecoin (DOGE), has seen a substantial surge of 6%. At the time of writing, DOGE is trading at $0.12735.
