Merit Circle is a gaming DAO on the blockchain whose sole purpose is Maximize your return on Play-2-Earn (P2E) games.
One of the main goals of the project is to create a gaming blockchain platform where players can turn their hobby into a source of income.
The Circle of Merit project is divided into 4 mini-projects:
- Investments (Merit Circle Investments) is a project whose main focus is investing in GameFi projects. According to Merit Circle itself, the purpose of the investment clause is “maximize treasury value”;
- Games (Merit Circle Gaming) – Support for P2E game projects;
- Development and Incubation (Merit Circle Studios) – blockchain game development studio;
- Trade (Merit Circle trading platform) is an NFT marketplace where users can buy, sell and trade non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Additionally, Merit Circle offers the Axie Infitiy Scholarship. At the time of writing, over 500 players have benefited from this scholarship.
Merit Circle also announced a bug bounty program. Anyone who reports vulnerabilities related to smart contracts on the network will be rewarded based on the likelihood, severity and impact of the issue. The maximum reward is set at US$250,000.
As discussed in the “What is a Circle of Merit” section, 7.5% of the total supply was distributed through public sale. It was called the Balancer Liquidity Bootstrap Pool or BLBP, where participants could exchange their ERC-20 tokens for MC.
One of the main advantages of this type of public bidding is that it allows participants to determine the Merit Circle price.

Who developed the circle of merit?
The Merit Circle crypto project was launched in 2021 under the name Axi 420 this was a scholarship project for Axie Infinity. It was later renamed Merit Circle. The main reason for this was to differentiate itself from Axie Infinity, which was no longer the project’s sole focus.
