Bitcoin Wallets Print ATH, But TON Still Expands Faster
A tweet posted today shows that Bitcoin, the world’s largest and leading cryptocurrency, has reached an all-time high in non-empty addresses as this metric reached 53.85 million wallets in the last six months.
Toncoin (TON) wallets have risen to a high of 16,800. However, this network has grown at a much faster rate than BTC.
DOGE outperforms ADA and XRP
The Santiment report goes on to show that in terms of percentage growth, TON is at the top of the list with a massive 110% increase, bringing it to a total of 16,800 non-zero wallets in the last half year. .
Dogecoin follows this cryptocurrency with a growth of 27% and the milestone of 6.6 million wallets reached so far. Bitcoin and Ethereum have recorded modest increases of 10% and 11%, however, their number of wallets has skyrocketed to 53.9 million and 120.7 million, respectively.
XRP and ADA are at the bottom of the list here, below Bitcoin. Non-empty XRP wallets increased by 7% (5.2 million total) and ADA growth was 0%. The Cardano chain remains at the non-zero 4.5 million wallet level.
Analyst Predicts Massive DOGE Bull Run
Cryptocurrency analyst and trader Ali Martinez, whose popularity on the X platform has expanded greatly recently, shared on his account that he expects DOGE to make a bull run. Therefore, he posted a thread to clarify his prediction.
Martinez explained that the correction that Dogecoin is currently experiencing is normal for this meme coin and has been observed before DOGE entered a bull run in the past.
He referred to 2017, when DOGE broke out of a descending triangle pattern. That year, the meme coin plummeted 40% before beginning a massive 982% bull run. A similar scenario played out in 2021; A 56% pullback occurred before a 12,197% rise and the all-time high. Currently, Dogecoin has broken out of a similar pattern again and is expected to spark a bull run.
