Controversial and popular altcoin Worldcoin has announced a partnership with Alchemy to support the infrastructure of its soon-to-launch World Chain blockchain, The Block reports.
Through this partnership, World Chain developers will have access to Alchemy’s web3 development platform.
Steven Smith, Head of Protocol at Tools for Humanity, had this to say about Alchemy’s partnership:
“By partnering with Alchemy, World Chain developers will have immediate access to a comprehensive, comprehensive web3 developer platform that includes both core and data APIs, indexing solutions, and other tools developers need to power their applications”.
In the statement, it was stated that World Chain will work with Optimism, Coinbase, and the broader Ethereum ecosystem.
The statement also states that the new World Chain blockchain is scheduled to be released this summer.
Alchemy’s Noam Hurwitz said his company and Worldcoin joining forces is important for the industry.
Last April, the Worldcoin Foundation announced that it would launch a new layer 2 blockchain called World Chain.
