Supernova Shards, a multiplayer space simulator, has announced the expansion of its in-game currency LFC to the recently launched Neo X sidechain. This development allows players to move LFC tokens between the Binance Smart Chain and Neo X. As part of the update, users will also be able to stake LFC on Neo X and purchase in-game drawings using a token.
Developed by Cyprus-based Sunday Games, Supernova Shards describes itself as a massive open-world space simulator that emphasizes realistic economics, sandbox-style gameplay and survival elements.
Exclusive NFT Starship Blueprints
To celebrate the integration with Neo X, Supernova Shards has released exclusive NFTs featuring unique starship blueprints. Three new starships – Eclipse, Shrimp and Liberty – are available for purchase exclusively on Neo X through the Life Corp. portal.

Blueprints in Supernova Shards allow players to create starships if they have the required components. Blueprints also offer a passive income opportunity as they can be licensed to other players for a fee.
Players can transfer LFC tokens from the Binance Smart Chain to Neo X through the game interface to purchase blueprints, but they will also need to transfer GAS from the Neo N3 chain to cover transaction fees in Neo X.
Supernova Shards joined the Neo ecosystem in 2022 as part of the EcoBoost program, which provides support for projects based on the Neo blockchain. The recently released Alpha 4 update brings a number of improvements, including improved graphics, enhanced combat options, in-game store updates, and overall stability improvements.
