The protagonist of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusamahas once again piqued the interest of the SHIB community as it reacts to a comment that borders on AI and decentralization.
Kusama was responding to a tweet from Balaji Srinivasan, former chief technology officer at Coinbase and former general partner at venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, who stated: “If you are in AI, pivot towards decentralization.”
Kusama replied: “Captain Obvious”; The implications and context of the Shiba Inu leader’s comment are unknown.
The phrase “Captain Obvious” is used as a humorous name for a person who has commented on something obvious, usually in ironic gratitude for an unnecessary or useless observation. “Captain Obvious” can also refer to someone who constantly states the obvious.
This could be because AI and decentralization have been key areas for which SHIB has revealed various plans in the past, so it may not be necessary to move from one to the other.
Shiba Inu has long hinted at its push toward complete and permanent decentralization, and Kusama has expressed her desire to see Ryoshi’s vision completed.
In a July blog post, Kusama emphasized that governance is a vital part of any autonomous global organization. He also stated that the structural design to complete Ryoshi’s vision was underway, and that the implementation phase would follow.
Shiba Inu’s focus on AI was heightened after its partnership with Bad Idea AI was revealed. BAD explains that its collaboration with Shiba Inu aims to grow the Shibarium layer 2 solution with AI-focused tools.
Additionally, in October, Shiba Inu lead developer Kusama generated excitement among the community when he hinted at upcoming artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives alongside the Bad Idea AI team.
