The celebrity positioning has pleasantly surprised crypto enthusiasts around the world due to its emphasis on using cryptocurrencies for payments rather than speculative purposes.
In a recent post on X, Iggy Azalea stated that she is bullish and that “the time has come” for cryptocurrencies.

Throughout time, the speculative appeal of cryptocurrencies has dominated conversations among celebrities and influencers, challenging the initial monetary supply. However, its leadership could bring new optimism to the industry as it views these tools as promising and useful technology.

Earlier this year, the meme coin mania took over and some celebrities joined in, trying to cash in on the craze. Iggy Azalea was one of the celebrities who became a niche leader thanks to her meme token $MOTHER.

For example, Bitmex co-founder Arthur Hayes publicly stated that he invested in $MOTHER, positioning himself as an “Uptober.” As Finbold reported, Heyers had previously publicly promoted other cryptocurrencies to his followers, simply to unload most of his position a few days later.
However, even in a chaotic scenario, Iggy Azalea has gained the attention, interest, and respect of the crypto community, sticking around even when the hype briefly died down—unlike other celebrities who come and go.
