Cathie Wood predicts Bitcoin (BTC) price will reach $600,000
Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood recently appeared on Yahoo! Finance YouTube Channel, what is discussed topics such as the potential of Bitcoin and the broader crypto market. During his interview, Wood also mentioned the SEC’s early approval of a Bitcoin spot ETF, as well as his company’s partnership with 21Shares to launch new cryptocurrency-focused ETFs. What stands out for BTC enthusiasts in the Ark Invest CEO’s interview is his bold prediction about the price of the flagship cryptocurrency. According to Wood, her company’s “base case” today is $600,000 to $650,000. She believes BTC’s potential stems from its scarcity and the institutional attention it has attracted. “There will only be 21 million Bitcoin will ever… and I think institutions, if the SEC approves a Bitcoin ETF, will feel like the coast is clear,” he said.
XRP Listed Again on Major Crypto Exchange
According to a recent announcement made by the CEX.IO exchange on the X platform, Ripple-affiliated XRP once again become available for its American clients. From now on, US-based CEX.IO users can buy, sell, convert, deposit and withdraw XRP across the exchange’s entire ecosystem of products. CEX.IO has therefore joined the club of such important platforms as Kraken, Crypto.com, Coinbase and Bitstamp, which put the XRP token back on sale following a fundamental ruling by a US court. According to this ruling, issued by Judge Analisa Torres, XRP “is not necessarily a prima facie security,” except when it is sold to raise funds from institutions. As a result of the rally wave, XRP saw a significant price surge, taking the token to a year-to-date high of $0.938.
SHIB Rep Gives Crucial Reason Why ShibaSwap 2.0 Hasn’t Launched Yet
Yesterday, November 15, Lucie, a prominent member of the Shiba Inu team, shared a thread on Platform Lucy wrote that the team behind the project aims to transform ShibaSwap 2.0 into “a comprehensive platform, going beyond the limitations of a traditional decentralized exchange.” Another reason is the intricate design of the exchange, the realization of which will require “weaving together a multitude of elements, requiring a meticulously planned and strategically executed progression across interconnected networks.” As a reminder, the initial version of ShibaSwap began in 2021. In April this year, SHIB leader Shytoshi Kusama wrote on his Telegram channel Shibarium Tech that ShibaSwap 2.0 “is coming,” asking his followers to “ignore anything that says otherwise.”
