Just a week after introducing a major update, Cardano-based Lace Wallet has released a new version to fix bugs reported by users.
Popular Cardano-focused wallet Lace Wallet has released a new version of its lightweight browser extension. The update caught some attention as just a week ago the team announced a major update featuring a number of changes.
However, following its previous launch, Lace Wallet notes that users have reported several bugs. As a result, instead of waiting for another major update to fix the issue, the team deployed Lace 1.7.1 to ensure a smooth user experience.
For example, the latest version fixes an issue that prevents the wallet from freely connecting with some dApps within the Cardano ecosystem. Also fixed issues related to Lace’s connectivity with ADA packages.
Among other things, the latest version of Lace also interacts better with ADA controls. Mitigates a bug that breaks the shipping flow for users with ADA IDs and helps those accounts better manage transaction packages.
Meanwhile, the latest minor improvements add to the improvements Lace introduced in Lace 1.7. As part of a multi bet update, users can now stake ADA in up to ten pools, up from five in the previous version. Additionally, the wallet now allows users to store their preferences on-chain, ensuring they do not need to be reset when switching devices.
Lace Wallet expands access to the Cardano network
Developed by Input Output Global, backed by Cardano, Lace Wallet is a popular choice for network users. Since its launch in April, Lace has accumulated 10,000 users and maintains an impressive 4.8 rating on the Chrome Web Store.
In June, Lace Wallet added support for Brave Browser, unlocking access to the Cardano network for the browser’s millions of users. With its latest set of improvements, Lace comes remarkably close to its goal of delivering a sublime user experience and bringing more people into the Cardano ecosystem.
