Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) announced On Wednesday, they found North Korea as an organization that, in their opinion, is responsible for cryptography of $ 1.5 billion. The agency called this cyber activity “Tradertraitor”.

The attack, which occurred on February 21, sank like the largest publicly open crypto -hack. Lazarus Group, the notorious hacker organization of North Korea, was identified as the subjects that performed a mass cyber -confusion against Bybit.
According to the federal authorities, the actors -traders have already begun to convert the stolen assets into bitcoins and other digital assets, scattering them into thousands of addresses on several blockchains. The agency expects these assets to be a further laundry before they are transformed into fiat currency.
The FBI calls on the organization of the private sector, including operators of the RPC, exchanges, bridges, blockchain analytics, Defi services and other virtual assets service suppliers for blocking transactions related to Tradertraitor actors.
The agency published a list of 48 Ethereum addresses, which either hold or kept assets of theft, defining them as controlled or closely related to North Korean actors.
