Max Keizer criticizes XRP and predicts a price drop
Keizer has once again criticized the Ripple-affiliated cryptocurrency XRP, calling it “centralized garbage.” Keizer added that XRP “goes to zero against Bitcoin.”
That was his response to a question from a member of the crypto community, who asked that if “governments are buying Bitcoin with fiat money, who’s to say they’re not doing it with XRP?”
Keizer has been a Bitcoin evangelist since the early 2010s, promoting it everywhere while working as a financial journalist and continuing to promote it on Twitter.
Max Keizer frequently criticizes altcoins, believing that Bitcoin is the only decentralized digital currency that exists in the cryptocurrency market. His other victim is Solana (SOL), which recently suffered a major outage, and Keizer didn’t waste a change to criticize SOL and the team behind it.
In recent years, Keizer has been living in El Salvador and working as a Bitcoin advisor to its president, Nayib Bukele, who proclaimed Bitcoin as the country’s national currency in 2021, banning the use of any altcoin within the country. Recently, Bukele has been re-elected for a second presidential term.
Keizer criticizes former Bitcoiner Nassim Taleb
In a recent tweet, Max Keizer criticized a former Bitcoin supporter, author of the influential book “The Black Swan”, Nassim Taleb. In 2021, Taleb tweeted that he was selling his Bitcoin holdings because he was disappointed with BTC, believing it had failed as a currency and as a hedge against bank failures.
Keizer posted a tweet, criticizing self-proclaimed Bitcoin creator Craig Wright (the founder of Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV)). He noted: “Craig’s lies were so plain to see that no one fell for them except a few extremely narcissistic fools.” The GIF posted by Keizer shows Nassim Taleb’s face hitting himself in the head with a hammer.
In 2021, Taleb and another Bitcoin hater, Nouriel Roubini (known as “Dr. Doom” in the financial markets), participated in a conference organized by Wright’s colleague, millionaire and CoinGeek founder Calvin Ayre.
