During his most recent appearance in a Saipan court, Julian Assange reached a plea deal that ended his 14-year legal battle. After being released by a US court under the terms of the plea deal, Assange arrived in Australia. On Wednesday, just after the 52-year-old pleaded guilty to an espionage charge in a Saipan court, his plane landed in Canberra.
Thanks to the judge’s decision, Assange was free to go. Judge Manglona said it appears he will be able to walk out of the courtroom a free man with this ruling.
