The SHIB enthusiast aimed to draw attention to a recently discovered fact about the Shiba Inu token. Notably, the sender calls the findings “fun facts.”
The sender first highlighted the recipient’s awareness that some of the most influential Ethereum (ETH) investors hold SHIB tokens in their wallets.
Then, the SHIB enthusiast continued to point out their new fun fact. His finding was that Shiba Inu is one of the crypto tokens with the largest list of holders.
Taking to X, the Shiba Inu team observed, “How should we respond?” curiously seeking the contribution of community members.

The Shiba Inu army fights back
The Shiba Inu investigation generated significant community involvement. Some members approved the post via likes, while others shared their perspectives on the “fun fact” presented.
An X user he noted that Shiba Inu had attracted significant attention to the point that even critics believed SHIB tokens numbered in one million units.
Meanwhile, another user, “I’m Ola Of Enugu”, suggested that Shiba Inu attracted attention for its meme-inspired nature. “Whoever controls the meme controls the world,” They introduced.
However, not all community members responded positively to the “fun fact.” Some have questioned the accuracy of the claims and requested a source for the statistics.
One individual even shared a screenshot indicating that the Baby Doge Coin meme boasts multiple addresses of Shiba Inu owners.
Bring Shiba Inu
Ethereum whales love holding and trading Shiba Inu. As of June 2023, the top 100 Ethereum whales held over 49 trillion SHIBs in their wallets.
According to Etherscan data, there are 1,375,928 wallets that contain Shiba Inu tokens. Interestingly, The Crypto Basic recently found that the figure surpassed the population of 105 cities in the United States
Notably, more cryptocurrency enthusiasts hold SHIB than Chainlink (LINK), which has approximately 711.3k non-zero wallet addresses.
Although Shiba Inu boasts a holder base in the millions, it still lags far behind the holder base of other top-tier projects such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, and XRP.
