Ripple VP invites Kyoto University students to intensive blockchain course
Emi Yoshikawa, vice president of strategic initiatives at Ripple Inc., will teach an intensive course on blockchain and cryptocurrencies at Kyoto University Graduate School. The course begins next week, Yoshikawa shared in a statement on X.
As the teacher explained, the program she prepared aims to merge the benefits of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. After the four-hour course, students will be able to understand the concept of blockchain in an “intuitive” way.
Ripple’s top executive hopes her students can feel the same excitement she experienced when she began studying blockchain years ago.
Founded in 1897, Kyoto University or KyotoU is among the most prestigious universities in Japan. It is the second oldest university in Japan and consistently ranks highly among the top 10 universities in Asia.

Ripple bets big on Japan
