Custom Mining craft The game server acts as a key meeting place and an immersive philosophical art piece at the center of Milady Maker, one of Ethereumthe most popular and subversive NFT projects.
The Milady Minecraft server or “Miladycraft”, based on rich theories about the modern world and micro communities full of knowledge, was created by the owners Remilia Corporation NFT projects (such as Milady Maker and Redacted Remilio Babies) for contributors.
But it’s more than just a place to hunt for diamonds and build mud huts in a blocky voxel environment. According to the server’s founders, Miladycraft is a work of art in itself.
In 2021, two community members wrote the Milady World Minecraft Server White Paper under the guidance of the collection’s founder, Charlotte Fang.
“Milady World may seem simple because it’s just a Minecraft server – and it is – but with it we want to explore forms of sociality,” the white paper says. concludes“With Milady World we intend to channel human impulses towards inner satisfaction.”
It’s a dense document, chock-full of explanations of video game history, personal asides, and seemingly sincere statements that might make readers smile. For example, it claims that Minecraft has “stimulated some of the greatest conversations in recent memory known to mankind,” and that it “acts like a modern digital businessman’s golf swing.”
(The film also depicts the incredible success of the competition: “In another world, Milady might have redefined eSports, creating players whose level would forever remain unrivaled in the gaming world; a golden age brought about not by the mechanical grandeur and artistic splendor of games, but by unbridled, tireless rock stars of gamers who seemed unable to fail in their pursuit of success, no matter what.”)
In practice, the Miladycraft mod pack and server have been used for social experiments, such as the Second Annual Grand Remilia Ball last month. The event, designed to mimic the atmosphere of a real ball, was held in a lavish, purpose-built ballroom with attendees’ avatars dressed in virtual formal attire and accompanied by a female companion.

“The goal, ultimately, is that it’s fun and funny,” said the server’s pseudonymous co-founder and event organizer Scorched Earth Policy. Decipher“But if you think about it, the need for structure is because online events have a natural entropy toward chaos.”
In this regard, the event organizers consider it important that each participant bring a companion with them, and strongly recommend that these be women – Milady NFT is not required. This is partly to reduce the risk of an event that has no hint of a Y chromosome. But also because they believe it reduces the risk of trolls and annoying pranksters.
“These pranksters either won’t be able to find a partner or won’t dare put their partner in such an awkward situation,” said Onno Morrison (online, he’s known simply as Onno), the server’s co-founder. Decipher.
“It’s just a fundamentally sound principle that the sex ratio will mathematically proportionally determine how fun your party will be,” Scorched Earth Policy said. However, the desired sex ratio was ultimately not strictly enforced.

Some members of the Milady community fought for the opportunity to attend the ball. However, the process of meeting someone exclusively through the Internet (called food) is strictly prohibited from creator Milady Fang. This encourages community members to go out and talk to people in the real world to find a companion for the virtual ball.
Some participants brought along long-term partners, while others invited friends to join them, and some even resorted to the Internet to find a partner, including DeGods And y00ts Founder of the NFT project Frank DeGodswho tweeted the request. One of the community members even created Twitter account for datingalthough there was not a single coincidence.
One of the participants, known by the pseudonym Jeffortless, invited his companion on a date by sending her a bouquet of flowers and a Hello Kitty. Kuromi plushie. The couple have never met in real life, but Jeffortless insists they are not eater.

“It wasn’t a romantic intention,” Jeffortless said. Decipher. “Of course, people can look at it that way or even practice courtship, so it’s like dating. But I don’t think of it that way and I didn’t treat it like dating.”
Minecraft as art
For its creators, Miladycraft is more than just a Minecraft server. It’s a work of art.
Scorched Earth Policy and Onno spent much of 2021 discussing Minecraft, eager to play the game again. But those conversations were going nowhere until Fang encouraged them to start documenting their discussions, like a modern-day Socrates and Plato.
“Such a distraction cannot be justified unless it is made applicable to the promotion of Remilia’s financial or artistic merits,” explained Scorched Earth Policy. So the pair set about critiquing the state of Minecraft, modern gaming, and society at large in their carefully crafted white paper.
“Long after Miladycraft ceases to exist or is forgotten, the white paper will continue to demonstrate the cultural significance of what we have collected,” Scorched Earth Policy said. “The white paper is the art; the server is the work that makes it art and gives it reality.”
One of the main arguments of the white paper is that Minecraft is ultimately flawed due to Mojang’s mismanagement of the game, which is geared towards children. It emphasizes that socialization in the virtual world is real and that human experience is reflected in the world of games.
Minecraft can serve as a sufficient metaversestated in the white paper, and in many ways that has already happened — but in their view, years of mismanagement have prevented that vision from ever being fully realized. The team laid out what would be needed for Minecraft to live up to their own vision, and initially planned for the server to be free of moderators, but eventually changed course.
The white paper also takes a detailed look at how reality and the virtual gaming world are connected, emphasizing that socialization in the virtual world can feel as intense as real life, and that games are the harbingers of the inevitable era of digitally simulated reality.
«[Minecraft] “It was the first truly open-world, open-ended game ever created, and its existence marks a hugely important moment in history,” Scorched Earth Policy said. “Not just for video games, but for metaverses and the internet itself.”
Since its creation, the server has become a repository of countless golden nuggets of knowledge and has been compared by players to the legendary 2b2t Minecraft Anarchy ServerFor example, in Miladycraft, the splash phrase for a wallet containing 10 ETH (worth about $27,500) was hidden near the spawn point and is still to be found in an eternal hunt.
Minecraft as a philosophy
For many Remilia Corp. fans, Miladycraft references one of the community’s core philosophies: “network spirituality.”
The concept has been unpacked, developed, and contested by many, and a concrete definition is still hard to come by. But at its core, it is a spiritual network embedded in internet culture and memes; a rejection of the “ego meat space” of the individual and an embrace of a connected digital being, where each person is a single node.

“Network spirituality is a collective prana “thousands of young artists who convey their artistic vision and express it online” is one definition outlinesWith prana means “breath” or “life force” in Sanskrit“Online spirituality is a multi-layered web of user-generated sites,” explains another.
For many players, the Miladycraft server is an example of this in action. As the server lives, lore is created and memes evolve, contributing to the collective brain. One player who goes by the name TylerIRLsaid Decipher that the evolution of online spirituality is a true work of art if you look at the Milady NFT collection.
“Miladycraft is online spirituality in practice” KabukiA pseudonymous gamer who has been playing on the server for two years said Decipher.
“Nowhere else have I played with so many talented, bright, interesting, psychologically mysterious and spiritual individuals,” he said. “Truly, the Milady community must be one of the hot spots not only in crypto, but in the broader global culture.”
“Interacting with Milady is interacting with the deepest states of your being,” Kabuki added.
As the dust settles from the second annual ball, the collective wisdom of the network will only grow stronger. Knowledge will be passed down by collectors, stories will be told by gamers, and the Miladycraft metaverse will continue to transform.
