Crypto Twitter has been affected by the recent anti-Bitcoin statement made by Bloomberg and CNBC contributor Samantha LaDuc. Top Bitcoiners: Michael Saylor, Samson Mow and Max Keizer have responded to his anti-Bitcoin rhetoric on their Twitter accounts.
Keizer believes that such criticism against Bitcoin will likely push it towards $220,000.
LaDuc’s criticism of Bitcoin
in a recent tweetLaDuc dug into Bitcoin, stating that it is “dishonest money” and that there is “no premium on scarcity” of the world’s flagship cryptocurrency.
The “newborn” Bitcoin critic, LaDuc, has agreed that “Bitcoin is a “convertible currency with an equivalent value in REAL CURRENCY”, highlighting that, in her opinion, the “real currency” is not BTC but fiat, a which you can exchange Bitcoin at any time.
According to her, the main attribute of money is that the government must impose it on users. However, according to her, “the state does not/impose bitcoin as a real currency, so it is not money.”
He admits that you can trade and transact with Bitcoin, but insists that BTC is not money, except for those who do not have access to “real money”: “For those who need it, I agree that it is a payment system powerful and effective. “Then he added that “Bitcoin is ROGUE MONEY, which is on the opposite spectrum of solid money.” It doesn’t meet the definition of money, LaDuc believes.
Max Keizer and other Bitcoiners respond
Max Keizer took to Twitter to respond to Samantha LaDuc. He claimed that money existed before the state and that “Bitcoin separates money from the state. “Bitoin will kill the State.”
He referred to the case of El Salvador and said that “making Bitcoin legal tender is to reinvent the State and create a masterpiece of governance.” He also stated in the comment of his tweet that Bitcoin is still heading towards $220,000.
Bitcoiner Samson Mow, head of Jan3, also commented on LaDuc’s tweet. His Twitter Post had a sarcastic tone: “Bitcoin is rogue money held by shady super-coders and used by toxic psychopaths with laser eyes.”
Mow also offered a comparison of Bitcoin to the limited number of days within a year, stating that “time is valuable and we only have a limited amount of it.”
