After Donald Trump’s rally in Milwaukee was marred by technical problems and what some called an uncharacteristically hyped performance, at least one Trump-themed meme coin jumped in value while others fell significantly in value.
Investors who once rallied around these coins due to the ex-president’s association with digital currencies and nativist rhetoric saw red in all their portfolios except TrumpCoin (DJT).
Many of these coins initially surged in value due to Trump’s hints of support for cryptocurrencies and political drama ahead of the November 5 election.
But after Friday’s rally in Wisconsin, where Trump made obscene gestures with a microphone and threatened to garnish a contractor’s pay, they suffered significant losses.

TrumpCoin was up 40% at last check on Saturday, while MAGA (TRUMP) and MAGA Hat (MAGA) were in the red.
See diagram below.
MAGA Coin
Named after the Republican campaign slogan “Make America Great Again,” MAGA Coin aims to attract supporters looking to express their enthusiasm for the Trump brand.
Owners often perceive it as a collector’s item and as a sign of political loyalty. On Saturday, the coin fell 4.6%.
MAGA HAT
The coin, inspired by Trump’s signature red cap, was down more than 19% at last check on Saturday.
Trump Inu
Thanks to the popularity of both Trump and dog-themed meme coins such as the Shiba Inu, the price of the Trump Inu fell 11.7% at last check on Saturday.
Harris’ rally presents a stark contrast
Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, who has been courting support from the crypto community, also held a rally in Milwaukee, not far from Trump’s rally, emphasizing the importance of rallying support in Wisconsin, a swing state, ahead of the Nov. 5 election. elections.
Trump won the state in 2016 but lost in 2020.
Harris’ campaign thrilled the enthusiastic crowd with performances from music artists Cardi B, GloRilla, Flo Milli, MC Lyte, The Isley Brothers and DJ Gemini Gilly.
The vice president also emphasized unity and compromise, contrasting her approach with that of Trump, whom she accused of treating dissenters as enemies.
“Unlike Donald Trump, I don’t believe that people who disagree with me are the enemy,” she said. “He wants to put them in jail. I will give them a seat at the table.”
Trump World Freedom Fi
Trump’s crypto startup, World Liberty Financial, isn’t doing very well.
The company founded by his family (namely his eldest sons) cut its fundraising goal after sales of its namesake World Liberty Fi (WLFI) token adjusted its fundraising goal after failing to attract much interest from investors.
World Liberty Fi now plans to raise up to $30 million from investors – 90% less than the $300 million originally announced.
