Shiba Inu team member Vet Kusama took to app
This time, it is a fake clone of the “Shibarium Tech” Telegram channel. In screenshots shared by Vet Kusama, fake lead developer Shytoshi Kusama promised to release a new ShibaSwap 2.0 validation for public testing.
Veterinarian Kusama warns the SHIB army not to use this channel or believe the data published on it. He also reminded his followers that if those scammers offered any airdrop on behalf of the SHIB team, it would not be real but just a tool to steal their cryptocurrencies.
Scammers have often targeted the SHIB community lately. Recently, the SHIB team’s official marketing expert, Lucie, warned the SHIB army, reminding them that the Shibarium ecosystem’s TREAT reward token has not yet been issued, and that anyone who claims otherwise and/or offers to purchase it, a scammer or is simply spreading fake news.
In September, the X Shibarmy Scam Alert account also issued a warning to the SHIB army not to connect their wallets to unknown dApps; There is a high risk of losing not only your SHIB, BONE and LEASH but also other cryptocurrencies stored in your wallets.
Shiba Inu’s burns turn red
Scout Shibburn spreads the word that for the past 24 hours, the SHIB community has not been able to keep the SHIB burn rate in the green zone. Unlike Monday’s more than 400% increase, at the time of writing, the burn rate constitutes -76.49%.
Only 12,891,943 SHIB meme coins have been sent to inactive blockchain addresses so far, compared to around 55,000,000 SHIB burned between Sunday and Monday.
The largest transfer burned to non-spendable wallets has so far been 4,062,225 SHIB and 12 transactions in total. The goal of token burning is to reduce the circulating supply of the Shiba Inu coin and thus make this asset more scarce. In this case, the community strongly expects (along with other necessary factors such as demand) that the price of SHIB will increase in the future.
Trillions of SHIB will move to new wallet
As U.Today previously covered, on Monday, October 16, an anonymous wallet transferred a staggering 4,587,030,677,374 SHIB (worth $32,409,665 at the time of transfer) to a new wallet.
The sender wallet was also created recently, as back then Etherscan only showed multiple transfers made from it. The receiving wallet was also new; This can be concluded from the fact that Etherscan did not show any data since, perhaps after receiving the SHIB, the funds were sent to another address and that wallet was closed.
However, this huge amount of SHIB moved between wallets was not enough to affect the price of SHIB.
