According to the latest developments, the world’s largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin has once again broken its high price (ATH) record, reaching $77,000.
In recent days, the price of BTC has been breaking ATH records one after another. The series of records began after cryptocurrency lover Donald Trump was elected President of the United States.
At the time of writing, BTC price is trading just below its all-time high of $76,792, following its all-time high.
This high volatility led to large liquidations throughout the cryptocurrency market. Over the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market has seen a wave of liquidations worth $263 million. Interestingly, while the price of BTC has been rising, a significant portion of these liquidations have been on long positions. There was a lengthy market liquidation of $136 million. Liquidation of $127 million was observed on short positions.
